In the boutique high-dollar driver market, there are few companies that rival Epon. They are the absolute pinnacle of Japanese quality and ingenuity.
This custom built Epon Forged 460 is a one of a kind high end driver. Epon Golf’s Forged 460 driver is an all precision forged titanium driver. This conforming driver features high strength titanium alloy body with a hybrid cup face. The perimeter of the face is made of Alpha Titanium (soft) and the center of the face is made of Beta Titanium (spring). The precision forging makes the alloy much thinner allowing for a massive sweet sport area with a soft forged feel. The weight savings allows for strategic placing of the tungsten weights towards the back for optimal center of gravity. Sporting a large forgiving face, this driver provides the ultimate feel, performance and all around satisfaction!
Translation: This driver is LONG, EXPENSIVE…and well worth every penny!

Here’s the scenario. You’ve got a few hours to kill before a meeting. You’ve got your clubs with you for whatever reason, and you REALLY want to hit some golf balls. Have I got an idea for you!
Step 1: Pick up a couple dozen shag balls.
Step 2: Hit said balls off of a cliff into the ocean/field/abandoned parking lot of your choosing.
Step 3: Don’t worry about picking them up!
It’s like your own private range…without the guy in the converted VW Beetle to aim at.
There you have it. Plenty of people willing to sell you their used balls for under $.10ea!
Tee them high…let them fly…then walk away! (You may even be able to beach a whale!)

Used Putters

Rocco Mediate shocked the world in Torrey Pines this weekend when he held off Tiger Woods for 18 holes with his trusty putter. Today’s playoff will tell if he was the victor or not, but the strength of his putting this week shows that he’s no slouch. And neither is his putter.
The Odyssey Sabertooth isn’t the worlds prettiest putter, but it may shape up as one of the easiest putters to use in a long time. The shape is odd, but the results are fantastic. If you are contemplating a 2-Ball, you may want to take a look at the next-generation in cool. The Odyssey Sabertooth Putter.

Phil Mickelson chose an interesting way to attack Torrey Pines this week at the US Open. With 2 3-woods in his bag! Sure, one is set at 11°, but that’s not to stop you from putting 2 of them in your bag too! Now, will you be as popular as Phil with 2 3-woods in your bag? Nope. Will you play better? Maybe. Will you have 2 3 woods in your bag? Absolutely!
At the end of the day…if you want to play better golf, get lessons and practice. If you want to buy used clubs, keep checking back here.

The 2-ball put them on the map. No doubt about it. Odyssey putters went from 0-to-100 in one 90-foot putt on national TV. What’s kept them up top, is that the putters DO WORK. You won’t find many coaches that’ll argue with the virtues of the 2-ball. There is a unique design that allows you to visualize the ball better than just using a line by its self.
