Padraig Harrington did the unthinkable last year when he won the 2007 British Open. Then he stunned the world by backing it up with another win in 2008.
Padrig attributes much of his recent success to his “superior equipment” provided by Wilson Sporting Goods.
Wilson Staff golf equipment isn’t a name you’d normally think of for modern equipment. The first thing that pops in your head are putters of old like the 8802. This new breed of Wilson Staff equipment is for serious players.
The odds of Padraig Harrington three-peating are almost nil. One thing that you CAN bet on is that he’ll be wielding Wilson Staff Irons next year as he tries for a third Clarit Jug.

Used Shafts

When you look at the Epic Shaft, the first thing most people notice is that the logo is the same upside-down as it is rightside-up. (Which begs the question..is it ever upside-down?) The performance of this shaft has you forgetting about that in pretty short order.
Grafalloy attributes this to the “NANOFUSE” technology that provides a consistent tension all the way through the shaft. This eliminates the need to ‘true’ the shaft for peak performance.

Used Golf Balls

So here’s the deal with these. Tiger Woods has never, and has said very publicly on several occasions that he WILL NEVER autograph a golf ball.
Another thing to notice is the ball you usually see the fake autograph on. Do you REALLY think that the World’s #1 player is going to sign a Top Flite II XL? Or a MaxFli from the 1980s? Not likely.

So, how do you tell a real Woods autograph from a fake? It can be difficult. One telltale sign is that if you come across an autographed golf ball, it’s probably a forgery because those who know claim that Tiger doesn’t sign golf balls.
The Irish Examiner has a direct quote from his caddy…Steve Williams.
A guy once offered me $10,000 to get Tiger to sign golfballs. Tiger doesn’t sign golfballs.
So for all to read: ANY BALL YOU SEE AUTOGRAPHED BY TIGER WOODS IS FAKE.
So if you see one of these, you can pass it up, knowing that some other sucker is going to waste his hard-earned money on it. You can think of it as just another used golf ball.
UPDATE: I failed to mention that the ONLY exception to this is the Wheeties Logo Ball that has a PRINTED Autograph on it.

Stewart Sink used one to win the Travelers last week. Vijay Sing goes to one now and then. Rocco Mediate used one last year to get his back into shape. In other words…”Everyboy’s Doing it!”
